Special Open Call for Photography Books & Zines •
We are inviting everyone to join Ephemere's first special open call in collaboration with Planet of Zines!
What: An exhibition to showcase your photography books and zines at The Blank Gallery in Harajuku, Tokyo on May 31st and June 1st!
Who: Photographers and artists who have published their work in photobook or zine format, either through a publisher or self-publishing.
How: Mail us one (1) physical • printed copy of your work.
When: May 20th — publication must arrive by this date!
Fee: $20 per title. This directly covers handling, logistics, and exhibition costs.
Why: Showcase your work in Japan, gain exposure through Ephemere and Planet of Zines’ networks, and extend your support to the photobook community.
Easy Participation:

Wait for our email with the shipping information.
Send your work with a tracking number. We'll handle the rest!
Reminders: This special open call may close early due to limited space. Early submission is recommended. Publications will be for display only; sales will not be conducted at the event. Publications will be archived at Ephemere after the event.
For those in Tokyo, you may also apply as an exhibitor.
