Hello everyone, this is Anne Murayama.

ephemere. launched online in July 2023, so we're turning 1 year soon! We might be young, but so far we have had 5 open calls and welcomed more than 1,000 photographers with their submissions; we have presented 9 exhibitions and published 16 photobooks – all brimming with international line-ups; we have participated in 3 book/zine events around Tokyo; and, we also have at least 12 ongoing photobook projects with passionate image-makers.

These may be merely numbers, but they also show how much we can do to help the photography community. And we would love to do more for you and with you – and we want to do it in a better way. This is why we would love to hear your thoughts. Taking part in this survey will guide us for year two:
