  • We encourage you to broadly interpret the theme of Triplicities: The Magic of Three to anchor the fleeting nature of our world.

We are looking for voices that can navigate these triads, using the intersection of text and photography to anchor the ephemeral.

For this Open Call, we require a single PDF submission. This document must contain your title, summary, main text, and images laid out together.

    Deadline: February 28, 2026

    Entry Fee: Free

    SUBMIT HERE

  • Ephemere is hosting a monthly meetup dedicated to the love of photography, books, and community.

Join us in the next one on February 22nd!

  • Our curated publishing lineup for 2026 is officially full.

We are pausing general submissions to focus on bringing these new titles to life.

However, three doors remain open to join us this year.

  • At Ephemere, we are deeply inspired by the short-lived—the French concept of éphémère—and the Japanese philosophy of mono no aware, which finds a poignant beauty in the impermanence of all things.

We explore this truth through personal and meaningful visual narratives, championing the tangible power of photobooks to preserve these fragile memories.

Through our annual Ephemere Photo Fest, we foster dialogue and build a community dedicated to celebrating the delicate, fleeting fragments of our world.

Ephemere was founded in August 2023 by Anne Murayama.
