Like a flock of birds migrating in search of a resting place, photobooks gathered from around the world land in Kyoto. The special exhibition 'Peji no Mure' (a flock of pages) transforms the gallery into a one-month-limited photobook library, bridging coffee, the local community, and print culture.
Stepping away from the digital noise of modern society, this is a time for 'slow looking'—holding a coffee in one hand and a photobook in the other. Here, you can enjoy a visual conversation beyond language barriers and deeply immerse yourself in the tactile touch of paper. The venue features the complete Ephemere publishing catalog, a curated selection of international photobooks focusing on contemporary photography and personal narratives, and the Ephemere Photo Journal.
On weekends and holidays, special programs with guests will offer a space for new discoveries and connection through photography.
